Think of us as your home for healthcare. Eric Winegardner, owner of Eric’s Pharmacy (established in 1995), has lived, worked, and raised his family in the community since arriving in 1992. He works closely with the Pottawatomie County Volunteer Health Clinic and serves on the County 911 Trust Authority Board. He is a past president of the Oklahoma Pharmacists Association and served on the Oklahoma Healthcare Authority Drug Utilization Board for 7 years. Our ProvidersShelby Janae Parsons, APRN, FNP-C graduated from Maryville University with a Masters in Nursing and focus in Family Practice as a Nurse Practitioner. I have lived in Pottawatomie County since 2009 and I am devoted to bringing new approach, truly care for you, quality healthcare to those in our community. I am the wife of a cowboy, mom of two boys, and a rodeo competitor when I am not in the office. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and appreciated after every visit. I look forward to serving our community and bringing the best healthcare to you and your family.
Trisha Taron, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CGRN, is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career in 1998 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 2002, she graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Rose State College. In 2009, she graduated from Oklahoma City University with her bachelor’s in nursing. In 2017, she obtained a national nursing certification in gastroenterology from the Society of Gastroenterology Nursing and Associates organization and maintains that certification. In 2020, she graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri with a master’s in nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner.
Her education, over 20 years of combined clinical nursing experience in medical-surgical nursing, emergency nursing, nursing leadership, and gastroenterology/endoscopy provides her with a diverse amount of knowledge and experience. She has spent the past ten years in gastroenterology/endoscopy nursing managing patient care. Her scope of practice qualifies her to independently assess, diagnose, prescribe medication, manage common and complex chronic gastrointestinal health problems, and provide patient-centered education with health promotion and disease prevention as a key component. Trisha is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Oklahoma Nurses Association, and the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates. In her spare time, Trisha enjoys spending quality time with her family, going to church, baking, gardening, kayaking, hiking, biking, reading, lake life, and watching the beautiful Oklahoma sunsets. “I am excited and passionate about bringing gastroenterology services to Shawnee. Everyone deserves access to quality GI care close to home. I have spent the past 4 years working with a prestigious group of GI providers, with the goal of bringing gastroenterology services to a more rural location, specifically one that serves the community I have been a part of most of my life. I feel blessed to be given this opportunity with Triad. An opportunity to give back, educate, improve gastrointestinal health, and achieve overall wellness. I am committed to excellence and providing an environment that allows you to feel safe, heard, and a part of the decision-making process when discussing your gastrointestinal concerns and care. Please note, if endoscopy is necessary, it will not be performed at this location.
